Assessment is the process of gathering information about students in order to make decisions about their education. Due to evolving technology, teachers now have many ways to ask students demonstrate their learning, and to assess student progress in learning. Technology can support much of what you do in your classroom, making your efforts more effective and efficient. Technology can be used to support teaching/learning activities, assessment, teacher productivity, and student learning. In class we will examine a number of tools, including the following:
