Introduction to UDL
Coming from federal law and from the field of architecture, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a movement in education to anticpate the needs of all potential users of curricular materials, and construct the material in a robust fashion to accommodate all learners, including those with disabilities and special needs. As we proceed through module 3, we will consider how to apply the principles of UDL in the educational materials we produce to benefit all learners.
